Outwood Grange Academy is committed to providing an outstanding education for every student. As a Cover Supervisor, you will support our ethos of raising standards and transforming lives by supporting the delivery of quality education under the guidance of teaching staff.

Responsibilities

  • Work across the age range 11 to 16 covering lessons for absent colleagues by delivering pre-prepared lesson resources.
  • Supervise whole classes or work with individuals or small groups in or out of the classroom.
  • Experience across a wide range of subjects may be required.

Qualifications

  • You DO NOT need to be a qualified teacher, but you will gain valuable experience and insight for teacher training.
  • You DO need to be able to positively interact with young people and have the ability to motivate and challenge students to maintain a positive learning environment.
