Role: School Administrator – Behaviour
Academy: Outwood Academy Acklam
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Salary: £21,956–£22,304 (Grade 3)
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only plus 5 days)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention, primarily through management of the Consequences Room.
- Maintain timely contact with parents to communicate behaviour, consequences or exclusions.
- Arrange, organise and supervise appropriate work or specific skills development with individual students.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, education welfare and the police regarding confidential and complex issues.
- Maintain the Consequences Room environment and record all C4 and C5 behaviour incidents onto the MIS system.
Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to enhance qualifications and training in the post.
- Effective communication with a wide range of audiences.
- Respect for and maintenance of confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
- Capacity to relate sympathetically to students and recognise potential safeguarding issues.
- Experience working in a school environment desirable.
