Role: Health and Wellbeing Officer

Academy: Outwood Academy Hemsworth

Start Date: As soon as possible - 06.11.2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £20268.75 - £21441.14

Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week with 2 plus days

Responsibilities:

  • Manage medicine and lead on the provision of First Aid and medical assistance to students and staff at the academy.
  • Produce individual healthcare plans, PEEPs, and Risk Assessments for N code children, with support from inclusion teams for children with SEND.
  • Accompany students to hospital and home when necessary, logging incidents and maintaining databases and supplies.
  • Be a qualified first aider; demonstrate enthusiasm and empathy in supporting students and staff.
  • Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
