Responsibilities
- Ensuring the academy interior remains consistently clean and tidy.
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and other communal areas according to schedules and during holiday periods.
- Inspecting and tidying student toilets after breaks and lunch.
- Maintaining corridors, walls, skirting boards, internal glazing, and window ledges.
- Addressing emergency cleaning calls promptly and clearly.
- Managing the on-site cleaning team and fostering a friendly working environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Experience and qualifications in the cleaning sector, including knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and relate to students in a pleasant manner.
- Understanding of academy child safeguarding procedures.
- Desirability: Prior experience in a school environment and familiarity with cleaning equipment.
- Required: A satisfactory DBS check.
