Learning Manager
Outwood Academy Valley is looking for a Learning Manager to champion student success by focusing on welfare, strategic intervention, and data‑driven monitoring. The role involves removing academic and behavioural barriers to learning and ensuring all students thrive in a supportive educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring to maximise student attainment.
- Monitor and support all students in the year group both academically and behaviourally.
- Work closely with the Inclusion Coordinator and the Leadership Team to improve student behaviour, attendance and outcomes.
- Lead by example and manage complex student cases in collaboration with external agencies.
- Communicate professionally, promptly and confidentially with students, parents and outside agencies.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work with students and a genuine interest in the issues they face.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative and strong leadership qualities.
Working Pattern
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 10 days (40 weeks).
