Role Overview
Head of Department – Leads the Computing & Business department, setting a clear purpose and vision, motivating colleagues, and implementing whole‑academy initiatives to meet academic targets.
Responsibilities
- Craft high‑quality, engaging lessons and collaborate with directors to use pre‑created resources.
- Develop inspiring lesson plans that make learning enjoyable and challenging.
- Analyse student progress, use data to tailor instruction and ensure each student reaches potential.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom culture.
- Build relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.
