Outwear are looking for a highly organised, commercially minded administrator to support the growth of our company in this new role. You will work alongside the Managing Director, Finance Manager and other colleagues to support the successful purchasing of products from our key suppliers. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their administrative career and make a real impact on a growing business. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong attention to detail, planning, and communication with our suppliers across Europe. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data to support buying decisions and inform strategy
- Maintain our stock database with accurate maximum and minimum stock requirements that will ensure accurate reporting
- Ensure that the re-order levels for stock are suitable for the future requirements of our business
- Place orders for new stock with our suppliers on a regular basis
- Communicate with our suppliers to ensure delivery times are accurate and update our systems accordingly
- Provide information to colleagues and customers in relation to stock availability
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Ensure all administrative, financial and system processes are completed efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with the Finance and Marketing teams to ensure smooth rollouts of new products
- Support the Managing Director across a range of tasks
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, graphs and data manipulation
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills
Desirable Skills
- Prior experience with SAGE software
- Previous experience using company databases
