Outwear are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our small, busy team. You will support the delivery of marketing activity across five key brands working alongside the marketing manager on multi-channel campaigns. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and a willingness to get stuck in. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing activity across multiple brands, each with different target audiences and strategies.
- Create and schedule engaging social media content using Meta Business Suite or similar platforms (e.g. Social Bee, Hootsuite) in line with marketing strategies.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos using a smartphone and other specialist equipment for use across digital channels.
- Edit and upload videos on various platforms including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
- Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Respond to comments and enquiries on social platforms, and monitor partner content and user-generated content (community management).
- Contribute ideas for campaigns and promotions to help achieve brand-specific marketing goals.
- Repurpose written content into compelling blogs, emails, and social posts.
- Create and send marketing emails using MailChimp or similar platforms.
- Assist with planning and attending events and trade shows, including the preparation of marketing materials.
- Complete administrative tasks such as monitoring branded promotional stock, packaging, and stationery.
- Support the marketing manager across a range of tasks.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using a smartphone for photography and video content.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Previous experience managing social media accounts in a professional or business context.
- Creative thinker with a genuine interest in marketing.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
