An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Europe’s largest and fastest growing woodchipper manufacturer. This Mechanical Design Engineer role has been created due to growth of the market–leading brand, which stands at the forefront of innovation in Arboriculture.

We have seen significant increases in revenue and machine production over the last twelve years. Key Responsibilities:- Design machines from concept through to production, either independently or as part of a team.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with cross–functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
- Perform design validation and verification through simulations and analysis.
- Support manufacturing teams with design–related issues and improvements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience in design validation and verification processes.
- Excellent problem–solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Competitive salary of GBP35k–GBP50k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
