As a Senior Product Designer at OutSystems, you will shape the core experience of our leading platform, directly impacting how developers globally build enterprise software. You will lead complex design challenges, translating user research into intuitive, high-impact digital products. Working alongside Product, Engineering, and AI/AX specialists, you’ll design for human workflows while identifying key moments where AI agents co-navigate or assist. This is an opportunity to guide design quality on a global scale while mentoring peers and elevating our design practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide end-to-end design: Facilitate user research, ideation, wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and usability testing to deliver validated, scalable solutions.
  • Design for human-AI interaction: Spot agent-touched workflows and construct clear, trustworthy moments of human control, review, and override in AI-assisted features.
  • Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and specialized AX (Agent Experience) teams from concept through implementation.
  • Advocate for developer experience: Deeply understand technical user personas to build pragmatic design solutions that fit naturally into developer workflows.
  • Elevate design standards: Contribute to the evolution of our design system, maintain practice excellence, and mentor mid-level/junior designers on the team.
  • Bridge practice domains: Recognize when features cross the line into agentic automation and seamlessly loop in specialized teams.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in UX/Product Design, specifically within complex B2B SaaS or technical software products.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully managing the full design lifecycle from discovery and macro-vision to implementation details.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools, alongside familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows.
  • Basic fluency in human-AI interaction patterns, with the ability to identify when a user flow requires agent co-navigation or human oversight.
  • Clear communication skills with experience presenting design rationale to technical stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience using AI-assisted design or development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Figma Make, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in UX, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Direct experience designing for low-code/no-code platforms, developer tools, or enterprise IDEs.
  • Familiarity with the UX → UAX → AX continuum (human-navigated to agent-autonomous experiences).
