This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Quality for one of our nursing home group clients. The Director of Quality will oversee quality control, auditing, management, and assurance processes for three care homes in North West. Commuting to the head office in Wigan is essential.

What does the role involve?

  • Supporting and mentoring three care home managers
  • Travelling between the care homes once a week
  • Conduct weekly governance meetings
  • Double-check if CQC notifications are sent
  • Forecast issues in care homes well before implementing mitigation plans
  • Support with interviewing and recruitment
  • Report to Directors of the company
  • Guide Managers with CQC compliance guidelines

Qualifications

  • Quality Control and Quality Auditing skills
  • Experience in Managing managers
  • Digital savvy
  • Experience in Quality Management and Quality Assurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Previous successful care home management is a must
  • Registered Nurses preferable

We value attitude and behaviours more than a number of years of experience. Your role will be to support and mentor. This role is not for someone whose ego is bigger than their achievements. Your preferred leadership style should be “Servant leadership” and use other leadership styles as needed based on the situation you are facing.

The role is suitable for someone who is ambitious with proven clinical management experience and business skills.
