Salary: £48,000 per annum plus 10% bonus, company vehicle

Overview: Our client is a global bulk liquid storage and distribution organisation looking to hire a training specialist to join their team. The Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering training and development activities, assessing employee competencies, and addressing organizational training needs for operational staff. This role ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards while fostering employee skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all personnel receive up-to-date training and identify future training needs.
  • Collaborate with line managers to assess and design new training programs (e.g., HSE, process safety, management training).
  • Deliver in-house training, create training materials, and travel to various facilities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with HSSE standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate training programs, managing budgets and assessing ROI.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • IOSH Registered Trainer
  • NEBOSH General Certification or equivalent
  • Adult Education and Training Level 3 or above
  • Experience in operational safety (COMAH sites or chemical storage)
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist or Manager
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Other Requirements:

  • Regular travel across UK locations, including overnight stays
