We're working with BAE Systems to find an experienced Project Engineering Scrum Master to support key engineering programmes within the Air sector. This is a 9‑month contract opportunity based at Warton, offering a hybrid working model with 1–2 days onsite per week.
You will represent BAE Systems within Siemens‑run Agile sprints, driving delivery across complex engineering workstreams using leading Siemens digital engineering toolsets.
- Contract: 9 months
- Location: Warton (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite)
- Rate: £41.87 PAYE / £56.44 Umbrella per hour
- Security Clearance: BPSS required; SC eligibility essential
As Project Engineering Scrum Master, you will be responsible for managing and driving Agile sprints to successful completion, working closely with BAE engineering SMEs and Siemens Global Delivery teams.
You will play a critical role in:
- Facilitating workshops and sprint ceremonies
- Driving scope through delivery using Agile methodologies
- Ensuring outputs align with programme schedules
- Tracking progress and reporting into weekly and monthly management forums
- Operating within a regulated aerospace engineering environment
Key Responsibilities
- Represent BAE Systems in Siemens‑led engineering sprints
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and sprint planning
- Drive delivery of scope through structured Agile execution
- Use Siemens toolsets to manage engineering workflows
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies
- Report sprint and programme status to senior stakeholders
- Support delivery against aerospace lifecycle milestones
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master within engineering programmes
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery in regulated environments
- Experience with Siemens PLM and engineering tools, including:
- Teamcenter
- PLM
- NX CAD
- Polarion ALM
Desirable
- Aerospace or defence sector experience
- Exposure to global delivery models
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hindi or Indian dialect language skills (advantageous due to Siemens Global Delivery interaction)
