The business is investing significantly in digital transformation, with a strong focus on improving customer journeys across apps, websites, loyalty platforms and marketing technology. This is a fast-paced, commercial environment where digital change is highly visible and closely linked to business performance.
The role: This role sits at the heart of delivering strategic, commercially focused transformation projects, with a strong emphasis on digital experience. We’re looking for a Project Manager who is comfortable taking full ownership end to end — from shaping ideas and building business cases through to delivery and adoption. Key thing to note: digital is critical here. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience delivering digital-led projects such as apps, websites, loyalty platforms, martech or digital marketing initiatives. Experience in retail or hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
Main responsibilities:
- Own and deliver strategic transformation projects end to end, from concept through to delivery and adoption
- Lead digital projects including apps, websites, loyalty platforms, martech and digital marketing initiatives
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle with clear governance and project board approval
- Define scope, business cases, costs and benefits, requirements and project outputs
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams
- Ensure delivery to time, cost and quality in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- Support change delivery using agile and/or waterfall methodologies
Ideal candidate profile:
- Proven Project Manager with hands-on digital delivery experience
- Background in customer-facing environments such as retail or hospitality (preferred, not essential)
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in fast-moving organisations
- Comfortable managing change and driving adoption
- Experience with agile and waterfall delivery
- Clear, confident communicator with strong leadership presence
- PRINCE2, Agile or change management qualifications are desirable
