Overview: We're supporting BAE Systems to find two Solution Architects to join their Shared Services Enterprise IT team, delivering critical solutions across multiple programmes. This is a hands-on, end-to-end architecture role where you’ll take ownership from early requirements capture through to design, governance, and delivery - working closely with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and delivering end-to-end solution architectures aligned to business needs
- Defining as-is and to-be architectures across applications, data, and technology
- Acting as technical authority across projects, working with dev and test teams
- Ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned to standards
- Collaborating with Project Managers, BAs, service design, and suppliers
- Supporting planning, estimation, and risk management
- Driving governance, change control, and design assurance
