Sales Development Consultant
Location: Desford, UK
Rate: Up to £34 per hour Umbrella – Inside IR35
Contract: 24-month contract (with strong likelihood of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday
Travel: Approx. 25% travel within the UK and Europe
Onsite Requirement: Fully site-based (minimal PPE required when visiting customer sites)
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with key dealers to implement sales and retail development initiatives.
- Coach dealers on best practices to grow and optimise their retail sales performance.
- Analyse business performance data and provide actionable insights.
- Build strong relationships across different cultures and geographies (all dealers operate in English).
Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified with 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Strong B2B and customer-facing experience, ideally within dealer or distributor networks.
- Background in the off-highway industry or a dealer distribution model.
- Commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Confident using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of Power BI a plus.
- Positive, proactive mindset with the ability to get things done.
