Job Description
Safety Advisor
Duration: 12 months
Working Arrangements: 3 days on site per week
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on safety compliance, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Supporting incident investigations and recommending preventative measures.
- Conducting audits, inspections, and safety briefings across operations.
- Collaborating with operational teams to embed safety into day-to-day activities.
- Supporting the delivery of SHE training and awareness programmes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our safety performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a safety-focused role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or defence.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); working toward a Diploma or higher is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
