We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Rochester on an initial 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for a confident HR professional who can provide practical support across a wide range of employee relations and generalist HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and employees
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues
- Support with investigations, hearings and documentation
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with best practice
- Coach and guide line managers on HR matters
- Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting requirements
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role or similar
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing a range of employee relations cases
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- CIPD qualification or working towards is desirable
