Location: Bristol/Somerset area

Hourly Rate: Β£17.50 PAYE

Contract: 6 months (high possibility of extensions)

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Technician (Temp) to support the Supplier Quality team. This role provides additional support within the department, helping ensure effective supplier quality management and allowing engineers to focus on supplier development activities. You will report to the Senior Supplier Quality Technician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process supplier PPAP submissions
  • Support PPAP system clean-up and investigations
  • Liaise with suppliers on quality issues, returns, and documentation
  • Support supplier meetings relating to non-conformances
  • Carry out stock checks, including rework and corrections
  • Manage return-to-stock and scrap processes
  • Coordinate repair and rework documentation
  • Support returns logistics, including packing and pallet preparation

About You

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline, or strong industry experience
  • Understanding of quality processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with ISO standards and continuous improvement tools
  • Experience with problem-solving methods such as 8D
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
