Location: Samlesbury

Contract: 6 Months

Hours: 37 hours per week

Hybrid Working: Minimum 3 days on site (Monday and Friday mandatory, third day flexible)

Hourly Rate: £22.93 PAYE or £30.73 Umbrella (Inside IR35)

The Role

BAE Systems is seeking a Procurement Engineer to join its Central Procurement Digital & Technology team. Working within a team of four, you will support procurement operations through administration, supplier support, data management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end procurement activities and processes
  • Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation
  • Produce and analyse procurement reports and data
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Support supplier and contract administration activities

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capability
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and governance

Desirable:

  • Understanding of procurement processes and policies
  • Experience using procurement or ERP systems
