Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take on a high-impact technical leadership role in advanced manufacturing technology?

We’re partnering with a global manufacturing client to find a Principal Electrical Engineer who will help drive innovation, guide teams, and deliver complex electrical design solutions at the cutting edge of their industry.

The Role

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key technical and strategic role within a multidisciplinary R&D environment. You’ll lead the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and modules that power some of the world’s most advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and reviewing the design and development of electrical modules and subassemblies for new and existing products.
• Defining and verifying engineering specifications, ensuring conformance to international and industry safety standards.
• Applying functional safety principles (SIL ratings, EN61508, EN13849, EN61511) across system design.
• Managing technical project deliverables, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are achieved.
• Mentoring and supporting engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree (2:1 or above) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of industry experience in electrical design for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of design for manufacture and assembly.
• Proficient with electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical or similar).
• Knowledge of P&IDs, system schematics, and safety-rated control systems.
