Senior Procurement Engineer
Location: Warton. Duration: 10-Month Maternity Cover. Hours: 37 per week. Working Pattern: Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Supply Chain Capability Portal
- Conduct market analysis to support sourcing and category strategies
- Engage with suppliers to capture capability and capacity information
- Maintain supplier data, RFIs, and reporting within Exostar and Excel
- Support category and sub-category planning activities
- Produce management reports and engagement metrics
- Support supplier onboarding and stakeholder engagement
- Drive continuous improvement across portal processes
Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience within defence, aerospace, automotive or a related industry
- Experience supporting procurement or category management activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis experience
- CIPS qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
- Tableau experience desirable
