We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Orderbook Professional to join a major defence programme supporting the Typhoon Repairs order book at Samlesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain or orderbook professional to work within a fast-paced operational environment, supporting customer delivery requirements and coordinating activities across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
  • Maintain and coordinate order books to ensure delivery targets are achieved
  • Liaise with internal teams including Procurement, Engineering, and Commercial
  • Support customer orderbook reviews and stakeholder meetings
  • Update ERP systems with accurate and current information
  • Monitor KPIs and report on delivery or operational impacts
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including international customers and suppliers
  • Support forecasting, shipments, and supply chain coordination activities

About You:

  • Previous experience within orderbook management, supply chain, or logistics
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of KPIs and operational performance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using Infor LN ERP systems
  • Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or defence environments

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undergo BPSS clearance, with SC clearance.
