About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced End-to-End Payroll Administrator to join the team in Preston. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full payroll lifecycle, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for a large, diverse workforce
- Ensure accurate calculation of pay, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Handle payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal audit requirements
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless data flow
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities, including P60s and P11Ds
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll administration
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- CIPP qualification (desirable but not essential)
