We are currently recruiting for a Fuel Terminal Operator to work at a top-tier COMAH Site in Avonmouth on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the 24/7, 365 operational services for the control, receipt, handling, storage & delivery of fuel safely and effectively. This is a days based role 8am - 4pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Control and operate basic plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to a defined quality specification.
  • Operations safe, efficient terminal operations including pipeline receipts, tank to tank transfer, road tanker receipts & road tanker loading.
  • Set up pumping routes for the receiving, delivery and inter-site movement of fuel.
  • Report and investigate deviations from normal operating conditions and be able to deal with basic process upsets.
  • Management of stock and investigation of any stock discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Safety-focused and proactive operations professional with experience in an industrial, engineering, process, or regulated environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
  • A relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification and experience in a regulated industry.
  • Previous experience working on a COMAH site or in a fuel-handling environment would be highly advantageous.
