Contract: 30 Months - 37 hours

Based: Glascoed

Hourly Rate: Β£43.18 PAYE or Β£58.22 Umbrella inside IR35

3 – 4 days on site per week

37 hours Monday - Friday

Overview

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you'll lead the planning, governance and execution of major work packages, ensuring projects remain on track, risks are proactively managed, and stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the operational link between technical delivery teams and programme leadership, ensuring effective project control across the portfolio.
  • Manage programme scope, budget, schedule and change, providing robust governance and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Drive risk, opportunity, assumption and dependency management, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain programme processes, documentation and reporting standards that support delivery within a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Skills

  • Experience within regulated, safety-critical, engineering or Defence environments.
  • Strong project controls, planning and programme governance experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A structured, analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing programme risks, dependencies and change.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, concise reporting.
  • Experience working in technology development, research and development or manufacturing scale-up environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP and planning/risk management tools such as Microsoft Project or Predict! is advantageous.
