About the Role: The EC I team’s primary responsibility is the calibration and maintenance of the test facility measurement instrumentation and control systems to ensure quality data output is maintained and to assist engine development and verification. The team is additionally responsible for the upgrade and commissioning of the multi-million-pound engine test facility, which has world-class performance, emissions, and mechanical validation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and upgrade instrumentation panels to specified standards.
- Perform comprehensive electronic diagnostics using advanced equipment and instrumentation.
- Execute Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and calibration routines for engine test cells, associated equipment, and interface harnesses.
- Maintain, enhance, and upgrade test rigs and related apparatus.
- Provide prompt and effective first-line breakdown support for engine test cells and associated equipment.
