Role Overview
We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to support business development and delivery activities across a range of projects. The role involves contributing to system design, integration, and technical solution development, ensuring delivery to scope, quality, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Systems Engineering support to business development and system studies
- Develop and implement technical solutions aligned to customer requirements
- Support system integration activities
- Produce activity estimates and report on progress
- Deliver work to required quality, scope, and budget
Knowledge & Experience
- Strong background in Systems Engineering
- Understanding of the full systems lifecycle (requirements through to acceptance)
- Experience with engineering tools (e.g. requirements management, modelling, defect tracking)
- Exposure to communications systems (highly desirable), including:
- IP networking / network design
- VOIP, radio systems, 4G technologies
- Network security & management
- Experience with Linux or virtual environments beneficial
- Knowledge of EMC, environmental standards, and product safety advantageous
- Experience supporting business development activities is a plus
