Senior Manufacturing Engineer – NC Programmer

Contract: 12 Months - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday – onsite Full time.

Overview

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – NC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and improving NC programs to meet project requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedule.

Skills

• Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
• Recent hands‑on experience using CATIA V4/V5 for NC programming.
• Experience generating Condition of Supply (COS) data.
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Good understanding of Process planning.

The Job

• Create new NC programs for hard and soft metal components using CAD/CAM systems.
• Modify and improve existing NC programs to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Provide build line support and resolve issues arising from tape prove activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams to ensure aligned processes and standards.
• Support process planning and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with project, business, and safety standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within manufacturing engineering operations.
