Senior Manufacturing Engineer โ NC Programmer
Contract: 12 Months - 37 hours per week, Monday โ Friday โ onsite Full time.
Overview
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer โ NC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and improving NC programs to meet project requirements, quality standards, and delivery schedule.
Skills
- Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes.
- Recent handsโon experience using CATIA V4/V5 for NC programming.
- Experience generating Condition of Supply (COS) data.
- Good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM).
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Good understanding of Process planning.
The Job
- Create new NC programs for hard and soft metal components using CAD/CAM systems.
- Modify and improve existing NC programs to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Provide build line support and resolve issues arising from tape prove activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams to ensure aligned processes and standards.
- Support process planning and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with project, business, and safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within manufacturing engineering operations.
