Project Manager for BAE Systems, a leading global defence, aerospace, and security company, to drive the planning, cost control, performance reporting, risk management, and contractual compliance of submarine-related projects.
As PM&C Manager within the submarines division, responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key interface between engineering, supply chain and commercial teams, translating strategic requirements into detailed control processes, forecasts, and corrective actions.
- Leading and mentoring planning & control staff, developing and maintaining integrated schedules, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and presenting performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project control, contract management, and the ability to influence across complex, matrixed organizations. This is a 9-month contract position, working 37 hours per week in a hybrid environment at Barrow in Furness.
