Shift work - 2 days/2 nights/6 off

Outsource UK are recruiting experienced operators for our client who are a fuel storage company based in Inverness. Experience working in top tier COMAH/aviation fuel environments is preferred. The position will initially operate on core hours before transitioning into a 24-hour shift pattern, including participation in standby and on-call rotas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up pumping routes and safely receiving, delivering, and transferring fuel products between sites
  • Operating in accordance with approved route cards and operational procedures
  • Acting as an Approved Inspector of Fuel Quality, maintaining fuel and additive integrity
  • Managing stock control activities including tank dipping, temperature correction, batch records, and month-end accounting
  • Operating computerised systems including SCADA and ABB systems
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across plant, equipment, and facilities
  • Supporting emergency preparedness and response activities
  • Liaising with SCADA control teams to ensure safe and efficient depot and pipeline operations
  • Issuing Permits to Work and monitoring contractor compliance
