Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for an experienced Safety, Compliance & Assurance Lead (SCAL) to support their UK Sustainment Operation based at RAF Marham within the Integrated Training Centre (ITC).
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Aircraft Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Assurance or Compliance in a fast jet or performance-based support environment
- Strong working knowledge of:
- ISO 9001 / AS9100
- DSAT requirements
- Safety & Quality Management Systems
- Maintenance Training Organisation Expositions (MTOE)
- Qualified Auditor (essential)
The Job
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, MTOE, Training Management Plan and DSAT requirements
- Managing the ITC Safety, Compliance & Assurance Register (SC&AR)
- Administering the SMS reporting system (PrISM) and associated actions
- Managing and delivering the internal audit plan
- Liaising with MOD Quality representatives, external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Providing training and guidance to staff on quality and compliance procedures
- Reporting quality system performance to senior management
- Promoting a strong Safety, Health & Environment culture
