The Senior Commercial Officer will support the Senior Commercial Manager as a member of the vibrant and highly capable Commercial team within the Simulation and Training business sector, managing and delivering a portfolio of contracts and bids to a range of domestic customers in a dynamic commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Commercial team on a wide range of contracts, projects and campaigns.
- Acting in a customer face role, resolving queries and maintaining and building on an enduring relationship.
- Actively participating in Bid Teams to prepare Bid and Contract materials including the preparation and presentation of commercial bid reviews, ensuring the necessary approvals are obtained in accordance with appropriate governance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a commercial function.
- In depth professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices with an understanding of how Commercial roles fit into an organisation as a whole.
- 3 years plus commercial experience, ideally in both UK and export defence environments.
