Government Relations/Public Funding Lead

London (Hybrid)

£60,000 – £65,000 + benefits

Are you a strategic thinker with deep experience navigating public funding in the energy sector? We are looking for a Public Funding Lead to drive public funding strategy and execution in the UK for a fuel storage company with a focus on sustainability.

In this high-impact role, you\’ll translate corporate goals into actionable funding roadmaps, identify and prioritise relevant opportunities, and coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to secure financial support for innovative, sustainability-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead UK public funding strategy aligned with corporate priorities
  • Identify and evaluate relevant UK public funding streams
  • Develop and submit funding applications and manage awarded grants
  • Engage with government bodies, agencies, and strategic partners
  • Provide expert guidance across business units on funding processes
