Outsource’s client are a leading company in the energy sector, specializing in the transportation of petroleum products and the management of energy infrastructure. They are looking to hire an Electrical Technician to join their team based at their Saffron Walden site
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical maintenance and testing on pipeline systems.
- Resolve defects and make operational changes in collaboration with technical teams.
- Maintain and update the computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Regular testing of LV distribution, small power, lighting, fire alarms, and hazardous areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (BS 7671, BS 60079).
Requirements:
- 5 C Grade GCSEs or equivalent.
- Understanding of safety processes like Permit to Work and Risk Assessments.
- Willing to work overtime for emergency breakdowns.
- Clean driving license required.
