We’re working with a global engineering and manufacturing business seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across its UK site in Bristol. This is a hands-on role focused on embedding Lean and Six Sigma principles, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

You’ll lead improvement initiatives across the business - training teams, coaching stakeholders, and implementing standardised processes. Working cross-functionally, you’ll facilitate problem-solving sessions, drive root cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement becomes part of the wider culture.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and mentor teams at all levels
  • Lead CI projects to reduce waste and improve operational performance
  • Define and maintain process standards and best practices
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Track KPIs and report on improvement outcomes
  • Engage with global CI forums and initiatives
Experience required:
  • Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with strong analytical capability
  • Solid IT skills, particularly across MS Office
