We’re supporting a global energy infrastructure business in the search for an Operational Center of Excellence Engineer to help drive operational excellence across complex industrial and chemical operations worldwide. This role focuses on capturing and standardising operational best practice across terminals, pipelines, storage, and process environments, creating scalable frameworks and playbooks that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop operational standards, procedures, and playbooks
- Support integration of new assets and operations
- Drive process improvement and operational consistency
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and HSSE teams
- Capture and structure technical knowledge across global sites
About You
We’re looking for engineers with experience in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Process manufacturing, Fuel terminals, Bulk liquids storage, Energy or industrial operations. You will ideally have:
- An engineering degree
- Experience in operational excellence, maintenance, engineering, or process improvement
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in safety-critical industrial environments
- Knowledge of tools such as Excel or Power BI
