BAE Systems is looking for a Contracts Engineer (Buildings Surveyor) to join our Estates & Facilities team in Glascoed. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the maintenance, improvement, and compliance of critical site infrastructure in a highly regulated environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting detailed building condition surveys and creating maintenance plans
- Producing technical reports, specifications, and feasibility studies
- Supporting repairs, maintenance, and new works across site infrastructure
- Managing contractors and contributing to project delivery and contract administration
- Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental standards
- Supporting asset management and planned preventative maintenance activities
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within industrial or commercial environments
- HNC/HND (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline
- Knowledge of building regulations and CDM
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Security: BPSS required, SC in progress
