We’re working with a global engineering and manufacturing business seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across its UK site in Bristol. This is a hands-on role focused on embedding Lean and Six Sigma principles, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You’ll lead improvement initiatives across the business - training teams, coaching stakeholders, and implementing standardised processes. Working cross-functionally, you’ll facilitate problem-solving sessions, drive root cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement becomes part of the wider culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and mentor teams at all levels
- Lead CI projects to reduce waste and improve operational performance
- Define and maintain process standards and best practices
- Facilitate structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Track KPIs and report on improvement outcomes
- Engage with global CI forums and initiatives
Experience required:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
- Proactive, self-starting approach with strong analytical capability
- Solid IT skills, particularly across MS Office
