A global advanced engineering and technology organisation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary product development team supporting the design and customisation of complex engineered products. This role will focus on the design and development of electrical modules and sub-assemblies, supporting product modifications, documentation, validation, and technical delivery throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing electrical sub-assemblies and systems
  • Producing detailed engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs
  • Supporting product customisation and development projects
  • Verifying designs through calculation and testing
  • Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects to quality, cost, and timescale targets

Experience required:

  • An electrical engineering degree or similar qualification
  • Experience within product development or engineering design environments
  • Knowledge of design for manufacture/assembly
  • Experience using CAD and engineering drawing tools
  • Understanding of schematics, system diagrams, or P&IDs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
