Job Description Electrical Design Engineer Contract:12 Months Hourly Rate: £35.00 PAYE or £47.12 Umbrella inside IR35 Hybrid - 2 / 3 days onsite per week BAE Systems are recruiting a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in shaping the design and integration of advanced electrical systems within airframe engineering. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective designs across the full product lifecycle. Experience in airframe or equivalent electrical design roles. Proficiency in CATIA V5 (or equivalent CAD tool) and familiarity with PLM systems. Produce detailed electrical design solutions that meet complex functional and safety requirements. Use CATIA V5 Electrical 3D & 2D toolsets to design and install electrical equipment and harness routing Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and customers in a team-oriented environment Verify and release design data to project standards while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule.
