Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional β Planning
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract: 6 months
Working Pattern: Full-time, fully onsite
Rate: Β£47 PAYE / Β£63.40 Umbrella
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner with strong Primavera P6 experience to join a major project team in Barrow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and project controls activities across projects/work packages.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor progress, provide project reporting and identify risks/issues.
- Lead planning meetings and manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Support and mentor less experienced planners.
- Ensure effective planning throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Experience
- Strong/high-level Primavera P6 experience β essential.
- Proven experience working as a Project Planner.
- Strong project controls, scheduling and reporting knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good Microsoft Office/spreadsheet skills.
Desirable
- Previous BAE Systems experience.
- Defence industry background.
- Shipbuilding/marine planning experience.
- SAP experience.
