Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional – Planning
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract: 6 months
Working Pattern: Full-time, fully onsite
Rate: Β£47 PAYE / Β£63.40 Umbrella

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner with strong Primavera P6 experience to join a major project team in Barrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and project controls activities across projects/work packages.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Monitor progress, provide project reporting and identify risks/issues.
  • Lead planning meetings and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Support and mentor less experienced planners.
  • Ensure effective planning throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Experience

  • Strong/high-level Primavera P6 experience – essential.
  • Proven experience working as a Project Planner.
  • Strong project controls, scheduling and reporting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office/spreadsheet skills.

Desirable

  • Previous BAE Systems experience.
  • Defence industry background.
  • Shipbuilding/marine planning experience.
  • SAP experience.
