- Location: Warton, BAE
- Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday onsite
- Hourly rate: £30.43 (PAYE) or £40.91 (umbrella inside IR35)
Overview
I'm currently recruiting for a WP1 Programme Delivery Professional to join BAE Systems on a major engineering programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Management professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple engineering teams and contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects.
Skills
- Previous experience working within a Project Management environment
- Good understanding of Project Management processes, procedures and controls
- Experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project and/or Jira
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders within complex projects
- Ability to work independently on routine activities and escalates when appropriate
Responsibilities
- Supporting multiple Engineering teams with Project Management services
- Coordinating planning activities, including schedule maturation, quarterly planning and dependency management
- Producing project reports and maintaining schedule status updates
- Managing DAREO logs (Dependencies, Assumptions, Risks, Exclusions and Opportunities)
- Supporting project governance activities, including risk and contract reviews
- Resolving routine project queries and issues
- Supporting the development and implementation of Project Management best practices
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the programme
- Using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Microsoft Office applications
Security Clearance eligibility is required.
