Solution Architect Preston / Frimley (Flexible) 12-Month Contract – Potential Extension
Predominantly Remote (occasional onsite visits required)
37 Hours Per Week
£497.77 Per Day PAYE or £672.74 via umbrella (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities- Define end‑to‑end solution architectures and technical designs
- Capture “as‑is” and “to‑be” application, data and technology architectures
- Provide technical leadership across development and test teams
- Ensure solutions meet governance, compliance and architectural standards
- Engage with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to gather requirements and support delivery
- Support project planning, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience delivering enterprise IM&T / IT solutions
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Experience with business and systems analysis
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience leading technical delivery within project environments
- ITIL knowledge
- ERP / procurement systems experience
- Relevant IT or Engineering qualification
