Based: Warton, Lancashire
Hourly Rate: £60.00 PAYE or £81.05 Umbrella inside IR35
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Onsite: 3 – 4 days per week
Length: 12 months

The Job
- Lead or contribute across the entire engineering lifecycle—from concept and requirements to design, implementation, and certification.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside engineers, planners, and delivery partners.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
- Support agile delivery through regular team meetings, resource planning, and task coordination.
- Produce key engineering artefacts and documentation.
Skills
- Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven systems engineering expertise across the lifecycle
- Proficiency in tools like UML/SysML, MATLAB, MoDAF, or similar
- Mission systems experience (especially in EW, DASS, Sensors, or RF domains)
