Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a SharePoint Engineer - Practitioner to join their team within the EIT Infrastructure & Collaboration function.
Skills
- ITIL processes and best practices for application management.
- Experience with multiple versions of SharePoint.
- Familiarity with 3rd party tools such as Nintex, K2, Sharegate, Linkfixer.
The Job
- Collaborate closely with Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads, and key stakeholders to translate business requirements into deliverable work packages, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met.
- Deliver and support SharePoint solutions across BAE Systems, working alongside the Business Engagement Leads to implement improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in workshops to gather requirements, demo solutions, and continuously collect feedback to improve SharePoint deployments.
- Contribute to the design, configuration, and testing of SharePoint environments, ensuring best practices and adherence to internal governance.
- Assist project teams with SharePoint upgrades and migrations to future versions, providing technical guidance and ensuring smooth transitions.
