Job Title: Transport Specialist
Client: Global engineering & manufacturing client
Location: Larne
Hourly Rate: Maximum £15.77 PAYE or £20.56 Umbrella
Duration: 6 months
Working arrangements: Monday – Friday full-time onsite

About the Role:

  • Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas.
  • Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives.
  • Review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes.
  • Review and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers.
  • Support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets.

Key Skills:

  • Prior experience in International transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air.
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong experience in Excel, vlookup, pivot tables
  • Microsoft office
