Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer – Support Engineering (Training Services) to join its engineering function, contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality training solutions in support of next-generation submarines for the UK armed forces and international clients.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of DSAT (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years\’ experience delivering training to MoD personnel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to produce clear, structured documentation and articulate technical content
- Familiarity with submarine systems and operations is highly desirable
The Job
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)
- Identifying training gaps and producing detailed TNA reports
- Designing and developing engaging, modern training solutions
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align training with system requirements
- Reviewing customer feedback to ensure training remains current and effective
- Supporting both independent and collaborative engineering activities
