We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Orderbook Professional to join a major defence programme supporting the Typhoon Repairs order book at Samlesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain or orderbook professional to work within a fast‑paced operational environment, supporting customer delivery requirements and coordinating activities across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
- Maintain and coordinate order books to ensure delivery targets are achieved
- Liaise with internal teams including Procurement, Engineering, and Commercial
- Support customer orderbook reviews and stakeholder meetings
- Update ERP systems with accurate and current information
- Monitor KPIs and report on delivery or operational impacts
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including international customers and suppliers
- Support forecasting, shipments, and supply chain coordination activities
About You
- Previous experience within orderbook management, supply chain, or logistics
- Experience working in a customer‑facing environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good understanding of KPIs and operational performance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Infor LN ERP systems
- Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or defence environments
Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undergo BPSS clearance, with SC clearance.
