About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Project Professional to join the Contract Integration & Delivery team on the Dreadnought Programme. This role plays a vital part in delivering integrated project management services, with a focus on cost control, lifecycle governance, and continuous improvement across design and build contracts.
You will be the key interface between the Dreadnought Programme and the Alliance Programme Team, working closely with senior stakeholders and driving process alignment across key programme functions.
Key Responsibilities
Full Programme Costing (FPC):
- Lead strategic cost forecasting, analysis, and reporting
- Develop and present narratives on assumptions, risks, dependencies, and opportunities
- Interface with key stakeholders including Finance Director and Programme Director
- Manage data finalisation and customer submissions
Earned Value / EAC Process Integration:
- Align and influence FPC with contract and CAM processes
- Support affordability assessments and narrative building
- Drive improvements in change management and cost integration
In-Year Financial Management (IYFM):
- Support in-year cost planning, reconciliation, and reporting
- Facilitate monthly internal and external financial reviews
- Align forecasts to programme strategy and full cost planning
Annual Lifecycle Phase Reviews (LCM):
- Ensure compliance with the Lifecycle Management Framework
- Coordinate and support effective review execution and evidence collation
- Lead tailoring of LCM processes to fit evolving programme needs
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in project or programme management (ideally within PMO environments)
- Strong background in cost control, change management, and project lifecycle assurance
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across all levels
- Proficient in MS Office tools and MS Project
- Confident in leading meetings and presenting data to senior audiences
